I’m Ellen… and I guess you could say that I’m quite into running. I’ve been blogging since the age of 14 about anything and everything related to the sport- and I’m hoping to continue this blog as I pursue and (at one point) achieve my Olympic dream. There’s only one problem… it’s unlikely that I will make the GB team whilst I’m a teenager. ‘TeenRunner’ may need a name change when I reach twenty!
Okay I know the ‘sum yourself up in three words’ idea is seriously over-used, but sometimes it is needed. I would say I’m motivated, (extremely) competitive, and hard-working. But then I can also be moody, easily annoyed, and argumentative. So I guess the three-word idea isn’t exactly perfect.
Anyway, I blog once a week and Instagram at least once a day about all my running ‘adventures’ whether it be winning a race, training, or baking something really good (which doesn’t happen often, so when it does, I want to tell EVERYONE!) Admittedly, balancing this and my GCSE homework along with all the training does sometimes get a little difficult, but I don’t mind that much. My mum always says that I do way too much and need to take a rest from time to time- but what’s the point in that?! I’ve got a website to work on and an Olympic medal to train for. Rest? What even is that?
I hope this page gives you an idea of who I am and what I’m about. Happy reading!
Oh, and one more thing, the link below will take you to a post all about me (without editing out any of the weird bits!).
